Every year the Mardi Gras Masked Ball is by invitation only to a limited number of special guests. The dress is strictly formal or roman attire with masks. Masks are available at the door for purchase if you forget. Your ball ticket includes a wonderful meal catered by LulaBelle's, beer, wine and plenty of live entertainment, and some very unique and talented performers. Although the location is supposed to be a secret - known to ticket holders only - it is rumored that this next year's event will something really special and different Tickets are $50 per person to those 21 years and older. A limited number of tickets may be purchased beginning January 1 through this site, at Java Jive or Rumor Has It.

Downtown shops participate in Mardi Gras offering special sales and Mardi Gras items such as beads and masks. Cajun and Creole dishes are featured at many local restaurants. Bring the whole family and enjoy the spirit of Carnival at the parade in downtown Historic Hannibal on February 2nd at 2 pm. Fun loving adults are invited to the Masked Ball.
